I’m offering a FREE storytelling adventure to delight you, make you shiver, and be glad that the shortest day of the year will soon give way to the return of the Sun.

In the dark of winter, when the veil between the worlds is thin, it is a tradition to sit around the fire, sharing a hot toddy or mug of hot chocolate, and tell stories of the
fantastical, the strange, and especially tales of visitations from Spirits that leave us a little better off than we were before.

 

Did you know that telling ghost stories was, and in some places still is, a Christmas Eve tradition? You’re probably familiar with A Christmas Carol by Dickens, but did you know A Ghost Story for Christmas is still a yearly BBC broadcast, continuing the tradition? You may also find author M.R. James, a master of the Christmas ghost story
story genre, known for chilling, subtly terrifying tales.

 

Meet me on Zoom for Yuletide Story Hour, Saturday, December 20th, and give yourself a break from the busy holiday activities. Bring a friend and a nice hot beverage… if you wish, you can even share a story of your own.
